Faith based organizations can help ensure that children in the community are healthy by providing:

LOVE children by personally getting to know them. Provide programs to support families, such as after-school programs or Mom's Day Out.

GUIDANCE should be given to teach children about potentially dangerous situations. Host speakers on children's issues.

TIME should be set aside to talk about community resources.
Volunteer time and be a positive influence.

PROTECTION of children should be a top priority in developing policies. Consider background checks for child care and youth workers.
